Well, if you have been watching the weather news or been in the recent storms you will know that a lot of ice, snow and cold hitting.  I went out on Friday morning after the storm and chipped away about a half inch of ice from my trusty old blazer and went for a little drive around the neighborhood.  Anyway along the way I saw some pretty interesting things and went ahead and took some pictures.  If you would like to take a look at them check them out here.

It's another year come and gone and another thanksgiving at our doorsteps, so I guess it's time to wish everyone out ther a safe and enjoyable thanksgiving.

Please make sure to be safe if you are going to visit friends and relatives as we want to make sure that everyone is able to come back and visit with us again.

Blizzard has announced the next World of Warcraft Expansion!!

This Expansion will be the third in the series and will bring us two new playable races, the Worgen and the Goblins as well as tons of changes to all of Azeroth. 

Flying mounts in Azeroth, level cap raised to 85 and a return of Deadmines and Shadow Fang Keep just to name a few.  Plus some new dungeons to enter and test your mettle with.  You will also find the Thrall has passed on the leadership of the Horde to his son and a war with the Alliance will ring out anew.

It seems we have had a recent database error and some posts over the last few months have dissapeared.  The count is down to 39 but was somewhere near 400, the information was pretty useful and I will try to get it back in place.  This will take some time as I do not remember what all was in place but will do my best.

OK, so I went down to Austin, TX to visit some family.  I am staying at the Days Inn near I-35 and hwy 183.  Anyway after going out to grab a bite to eat, we arrived here to a missing vehicle. . .

 

It has been stolen!

 

I have made a police report but if you happen to be in the area and see a white 1984 Chevy S-10 Blazer Oklahoma License PLEASE report it to the police!!!

 

I am about 6 hours away form home at this point and stuck here for a while unless I can get it back.

 

I would really appreciate any help that may be out there.

 

 

Update!!!!    Received a call from the Austin Police department last night about 10:00 PM

Vehicle has been recovered, I was allowed to pick it up four people were inside and driving at the time.  They all went to jail but the drivers window has been busted the dash has been ripped apart stereo missing along with my tools and a speakerbox and two amplifiers.  Some other misc things are also gone but have to make up an inverntory.  Left last night around 1 am after making a temporary window.  Arrived home about 7:30 am sleepy as hell but safe.  

 

A special thanks to those people who have helped to recover the vehicle and for not impounding it. . . another 150 for getting robbed would have been even worse, lol.  

Ok, so this is posted a day or so late but WoW:Wrath of the Litch King is out for public gameplay.

 Now if you are like me you have been running around doing tons of stuff and barely had time to install and upgrade let alone play much.  But it seems pretty cool and I did get a Death Knight to level 58 and dropped my 70 warrior in northrend so when I get a chance to sit down and play it shouldn't take me long to get leveled.

 

But it was fun to get a copy of the game I was unable to sign up for the collectors edition but luckily Wal-mart gets in six of them for the release, they also got in six collectors editions of the Burning Crusade so I have gotten super lucky so far.

 

Anyway I will be putting up a new survey asking your opinions vote and be sure to ost any questions or comments.

World of Warcaft patches to 3.02 today!!

 

Ok, got up to see what the client was going to do ya know download a little more and patch or just sit there.  Well looks like Blizzard decided to update today almost exactly 1 month ahead of the WOTLK release date.  So it's official, or might as well be the client will again take on a change like when 2.0 came out.  I am guessing that we will all be able to explore the new area of stormwind and any other area's in the original area's but travel to Northrend will be impossible until you install and upgrade to the new client.  Anyway if your interested in a trial do me a favor send me your name and e-mail address in a private message here and I will do my best to get a trial sent out.  Now I know that you can just go to the World of Warcraft site and get one, but hey why not hook me up with a free month as well?  LOL

 

Anyway looks like some major changes are going to stay on schedule unlike when the BC's release date was pushed back multiple times.  Also a lot of addons will either cease to work or become irrelevant.  Hopefully these will be good things unlike the implementation of the voice system in game which in my opinion is very poor audio quality and actually takes more resources than ventrilo.  I guess time will tell.
